Parabolic Indicator

Parabolic Indicator

The Parabolic Indicator, developed by J. Wells Wilder, is technical indicator that uses a trailing stop and reverse method called SAR to identify good entry and exit points.

The concept is when the security’s price is above the SAR, it recommends buying or staying long. When the price is below the SAR, it recommends selling or staying short.
